Rapidly changing environment requires individuals to be flexible and easy adaptive to keep competitiveness ion the labor market. Lifelong learning is one of the key factors for the sustainable development of the human capital though increased knowledge and competence. Experience of the project partners gained over years has lead the consortium to have a common understanding over necessity to develop lifelong learning system in the regions due to several essential imperfections defined in the market. The common approach to solve regional imperfections will ensure more accelerated development, maximizing the best practice transfer from partners across the project region and increase the synergic effects of collaboration.
The overall objective of the project is the development of human capital through the contribution in the promotion of effective lifelong learning system in Kurzeme and North-West Lithuania cross-border territory. One of the main goals of the project is to prepare the recommendations to improve the imperfections, and increase lifelong learning system efficiency by such means:
a) Common recommendations for the improvement of existing legislation of lifelong learning;
b) Common recommendations for lifelong learning policy.
